The authors propose two classes of derivative-free Newton-like methods for solving systems of nonlinear equations based on a double Newton step. In addition, they provide the local convergence analysis of the iterative methods. Finally, some numerical results are reported, which confirm the good theoretical properties of the approach presented in the paper.
