Let \(T\) be a Calderón-Zygmund operator and \(M_b\) be the pointwise multiplication operator \(M_b : f \mapsto bf\). Consider the commutator and higher order commutators \[ C_b^1 (T) = [b,T]= M_b \circ T - T \circ M_b \quad \text{and} \quad C_b^k (T) = [b, C_b^{k-1}(T)]. \] \textit{I. Holmes} et al. [Arch. Math. 106, No. 1, 53--63 (2016; Zbl 1342.42005); ``Commutators in the two-weight setting'', Preprint (2016), \url{arXiv:1506.05747}] proved the following: Theorem 1. For any two weights \(\lambda, \mu \in A_p\) and a function \(b \in \mathrm{BMO}(\nu)\), where \(\nu = (\mu/\lambda)^{1/p}\), \(C_b^1\) is bounded from \(L^p(\mu)\) to \(L^p(\lambda)\). \textit{I. Holmes} and \textit{B. D. Wick} [``Two weight inequalities for iterated commutators with Calderón-Zygmund operators'', Preprint (2015), \url{arXiv:1509.03769}] proved the following: Theorem 2. For any two weights \(\lambda, \mu \in A_p\) and a function \(b \in\mathrm{BMO}\cap\mathrm{BMO}(\nu)\), where \(\nu = (\mu/\lambda)^{1/p}\), \(C_b^k\) is bounded from \(L^p(\mu)\) to \(L^p(\lambda)\). The author provides an alternative proof for Theorem 2 by combining Theorem 1 and a Cauchy integral argument by \textit{R. R. Coifman} et al. [Ann. Math. (2) 103, 611--635 (1976; Zbl 0326.32011)].
