Let \(L\) be a restricted Lie algebra over a field \(\mathbb{F}\) of characteristic \(p>2\), \(L'\) its derived subalgebra and \(u(L)\) the restricted enveloping subalgebra of \(L\). Let \(u(L)^+, u(L)^-\) be the eigenspaces of the canonical involution of \(u(L)\). The paper studies properties of \(u(L)^+\) in the form of equivalent conditions. For example, \(u(L)^+\) is bounded Lie Engel (resp. Lie nilpotent, Lie solvable) if and only if \(u(L)\) is bounded Lie Engel (resp. Lie nilpotent, Lie solvable). The authors also provide equivalent conditions for each case involving \(L'\).
