All the action here takes place in 2-dimensional Banach spaces, i.e., Minkowski planes. The minimal width of a convex body means the minimal distance between any pair of parallel supporting lines. A convex body is reduced if any convex body properly contained therein has strictly smaller minimal width. This paper concentrates on normalized reduced triangles, i.e., those with centroid at the origin and incircle of radius one. The useful but technical Theorem 4.1 describes the relationship between the vertices of any two such triangles. It is used to show, for example, that any segment from the origin to the unit circle contains a unique point which is the midpoint of one side of a regular hexagon inscribed in the unit circle. It is shown that every normalized reduced triangle is equilateral if and only if the norm is Euclidean.
