This paper presents Kirsch's factorization method with a Tikhonov parameter choice approach based on a maximum product criterion (MPC). The performance of this method is compared on reconstructions with those obtained Morozov's discrepancy principle and the SVD-tail. The effectiveness of the presented method is shown on several numerical results involving both simulated and real data.
