    Let \(\Omega\) be a bounded open smooth domain in \({\mathbb{R}}^N\) and let \(f(x,t)\) be continuous on \(\overline{\Omega}\times {\mathbb{R}}^N\), continuously differentiable with respect to \(t\), which satisfies super-linear and subcritical conditions. The authors prove that if \(\{ u_n \} \in H^2(\Omega)\cap C^1(\Omega)\) is a sequence of solutions of the following problem \[ -\Delta u=f(x,u)\,\, \text{in }\,\, \Omega,\quad \frac{\partial u}{\partial \nu}=0\,\, \text{on } \,\, \Omega, \] then \(\{ u_n \}\) is bounded in \(L^\infty (\Omega)\) if and only if the Morse index of \(u_n\) is bounded.
