The author studies a delayed predator-prey model of prey dispersal in two-patch environments. By a detailed analysis of the right-hand side functional of the system, sufficient and necessary condition are derived, which guarantee the predator and the prey species to be permanent. Numerical simulations show the feasibility of the main results.
