Fluctuation bounds for interface free energies in spin glasses (Q744563): Difference between revisions

The authors consider the Edwards-Anderson Hamiltonian on a finite box, by the way of which one defines the Hamiltonian of free energies between two infinite-volume Gibbs states. The main result of the paper is to derive a lower bound on the fluctuation of this difference. This result is obtained using a martingale decomposition of the free energy difference.
