This paper has two main objectives. The first objective is to classify all complete spacelike hypersurfaces of non-negative curvature of de Sitter space which have constant mean curvature in the case where a multiplicity of each principal curvature is greater than one. Here de Sitter space is the Lorentz space form of constant positive curvature. The author shows that such a hypersurface must be isometric to either Euclidean space or a sphere with constant curvature strictly less than the curvature of the ambient de Sitter space. The second objective is to show that there exist infinitely many spacelike hypersurfaces with constant mean curvature of a de Sitter space. Such examples are described.
