Dynamic modelling of various aerolastic control systems (e.g., an airfoil) requires an application of Söhngen's inversion formula for finite Hilbert transforms. In order to justify the validity of the inversion formula it is shown that the circulation history must belong to a weighted \(L_ 2\) space.
