This paper is devoted to Hessenberg varieties and polarizations. Let \(g\) be a Lie algebra and \(S(g)\) the symmetric algebra. Fomenko-Mischenko and Tarasov constructed a polynomial subalgebra which is maximally Poisson commutative. It is known that the set of all strongly regular elements \(g_{\text{reg}}\) is Zariski open and dense in \(g\). Defining Hess to be a particular Hessenberg variety, Tarasov has shown that Hess is included in \(g_{\text{reg}}\). In this paper, the author considers the set of all regular G-orbits in \(g\). For any orbit \(O\) in this set, the intersection of \(O\) and \(g_{\text{reg}}\) is Zariski open and dense in \(O\). Then, the author introduces the intersection Hess(\(O\)) of Hess and \(O\). It is proved that Hess(\(O\)) is a Lagrangian submanifold. The main result of the paper shows finally the existence over all orbits of a polarization, explicitly described. This polarization simulates the structure of the cotangent bundle of Hess(\(O\)).
