Given a Riemann surface \(S\), \textit{X. Gu} and \textit{S.-T. Yau} [Commun. Inf. Syst. 2, No. 2, 121--146 (2002; Zbl 1092.14514)] computed harmonic \(1\)-forms by minimization of the discretized energy functional of \(1\)-forms in the same cohomology class. This permits to construct holomorphic \(1\)-forms on \(S\). In this paper, the author addresses the problem of convergence of such a process providing a quantitative argument to get the error of such an approximation.
