The authors determine the Hausdorff and packing dimension of a class of subsets of Sierpiński carpets of which the allowed digits in the expansions fall into each fiber with a prescribed frequency; the authors give also necessary and sufficient conditions such that the corresponding Hausdorff and packing measures are finite. The results extend some results of A. Nielson.
