    A multishift \(S\) with weights \(\{w^{(i)}_{\alpha} : \alpha \in \mathbb N^d, \, i=1, \dots, d\}\) and orthonormal basis \(\{e_{\alpha}\}_{\alpha \in \mathbb N^d}\) is \textit{joint subnormal} if for every \(\alpha \in \mathbb N^d\), the multisequence \(\{\|T^{\beta}e_{\alpha}\|^2\}_{\beta \in \mathbb N^d}\) is Hausdorff moment. The subnormal completion problem in \(d\)-variables entails finding necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a joint subnormal \(d\)-variable weighted shift whose initial weights are given by \(\mathcal C=\{w^{(i)}_{\alpha} : \alpha \in \Gamma, i=1, \dots, d\}\) satisfying the commutativity conditions \[ w^{(i)}_{\alpha+\epsilon_j}w^{(j)}_{\alpha} = w^{(j)}_{\alpha+\epsilon_i}w^{(i)}_{\alpha} \] for \(i, j=1, \dots, d\) whenever \(\alpha, \alpha + \epsilon_i, \alpha + \epsilon_j\) belongs to to lattice subset \(\Gamma\) of \(\mathbb N^d\). Interesting examples of lattice sets include \(\{\alpha \in \mathbb N^2 : 0 \leq |\alpha| \leq 2\}\). The associated completion problem is referred to as the \textit{cubic subnormal completion problem in \(2\)-variables}. Among many other results, the author provides a solution to the subnormal completion problem in \(d\) variables for \(\mathcal C\) indexed by \(\gamma\) of even type.
