If GCH holds and some sharps do not exist, then every stationary set in \(P_{\kappa}(\lambda)\) is the disjoint union of \(\lambda^{<\kappa}\) stationary sets. The new case is \(cf(\lambda)<\kappa\). The author observes that every club is of size \(\lambda^+\) and the club filter is \(\lambda^+\)-generated, so a straightforward diagonal argument works.
