A characterization of MV-algebras free over finite distributive lattices (Q938236): Difference between revisions

\textit{D. Mundici} [Arch. Math. Logic 45, 239--247 (2006; Zbl 1094.06010)] characterized free finitely generated MV-algebras. The present author extends Mundici's result; he gives a characterization of MV-algebras which are free over finite distributive lattices. For a detailed formulation of his result, definitions of several auxiliary notions would be needed. In the proof, topological methods are essentially applied.
