Using native spaces and power functions, error estimates with precise right-hand sides are provided for radial basis function interpolation. With respect to these, a generalisation is achieved by admitting anisotropic radial basis functions which are important for practical considerations. Special attention is given to the so-called polyharmonic radial basis functions.
