\textit{J. L. M. Barbosa} and \textit{M. P. do Carmo} [Math. Z. 185, 339--353 (1984; Zbl 0513.53002)] studied the notion of stability for hypersurfaces of constant mean curvature in Riemannian spaces. \textit{J. L. M. Barbosa} and \textit{A. G. Corales } [Ann. Global Anal. Geom. 15, No.~3, 277--297 (1997; Zbl 0891.53044)] extended the results obtained by \textit{J. L. M. Barbosa, M. P. do Carmo} and \textit{J.-H. Eschenburg} [Math. Z. 197, No.~1, 123--138 (1988; Zbl 0653.53045)] to the notion of stability for hypersurfaces of constant \(r\)-th mean curvature. \textit{A. Barros, A. Brasil} and \textit{A. Caminha} [Differ. Geom. Appl. 26, No.~4, 357--365 (2008; Zbl 1145.53046)] studied the notion of strong stability for hypersurfaces with constant mean curvature in Robertson-Walker space-times. The goal of this paper is to study the strong stability of space-like hypersurfaces with constant \(r\)-th mean curvature in Robertson-Walker space-times. The case where the ambient space-time is a de Sitter space is studied in detail.
