The authors give a large deformation analysis of pressure-sensitive plasticity based on reproducing kernel particle method. The technique requires no explicit mesh in computation, and therefore avoids mesh distortion difficulties in large deformation analysis. Full theory is developed with a solid experimental representation to illustrate the proposed method.
