The authors are concerned with high order finite volume methods in order to solve Dirichlet problems for 3D linear elliptic partial differential equations. They develop some affine quadratic bases on right quadrangular prism meshes, prove an optimal error estimation and report some numerical experiments in order to underline the theoretical results.
