This paper continues previous work of the author wherein he determined the non-abelian simple groups which are homomorphic images of multiplicative subgroups of full \(2\times 2\) matrices, \(M_ 2(\Delta)\), where \(\Delta\) is a division ring over Q. In this latest effort he investigates the non-solvable multiplicative subgroups G of \(M_ 2(\Delta)\) such that \(M_ 2(\Delta)=\{\sum \alpha_ ig_ i|\) \(\alpha_ i\in Q\), \(g_ i\in G\}=V_ Q(G)\). He proves several isomorphisms with combinations for SL(2,5), PSL(2,5) and PSL(2,9). Moreover, he proves certain structure theorems for \(V_ Q(H)\) for certain groups H. However, the author has overlooked contributions to the topic made by this reviewer [in Commun. Algebra 6, 237-248 (1978; Zbl 0393.16015) and Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 7, 707-711 (1984; Zbl 0576.16021).]
