Let \(a_ 0,...,a_ p\); \(b_ 0,...,b_ q\) \((a_ pb_ q\neq 0)\) be entire functions without common zero and put \(P(z,w)=\sum^{p}_{j=0}a_ jw^ j\) and \(Q(z,w)=\sum^{q}_{k=0}b_ kw^ k.\) We consider the differential equation (1) \((w')^ n=P(z,w)/Q(z,w),\) which is irreducible over the set of meromorphic functions in \(| z| <\infty\). We give three theorems on algebroid solutions of the differential equation (1) when \(p<n+q\). For example, Theorem 3. When \(p<n+1\), if all \(a_ j\) and \(b_ k\) are polynomial, any algebroid solution of (1) is algebraic.
