The here considered fully nonlinear elliptic equation fulfills only the degenerate ellipticity condition. So boundary value problems are generally not expected to have classical solutions and therefore viscosity solutions are used. With the help of the ideas of sub- and super-viscosity solutions (and of course of a lot of assumptions) an existence result can be proved. Some discussions on the stated assumptions are added.
