A subgroup \(H\) of a finite group \(G\) is hypercentrally embedded in \(G\) if the factor group \(H^G/H_G\) lies in the hypercenter of \(G/H_G\). It is shown that \(H\) is hypercentrally embedded in \(G\) if and only if \(H\) commutes with every pronormal subgroup of \(G\). A similar statement does not hold for abnormal subgroups.
