Projective representations of the group of acceleration transformations are constructed, and the resulting unitary operators are shown to implement arbitrary accelerations. These results are then used to modify the time-dependent Schrödinger equation to produce the quantum mechanical analogs of fictitious forces of classical mechanics. The author also considers various implications for the internal structure of quantum mechanics and for the theory of gravitational forces.
