    The differential-delay equation under consideration has the form (1) \((rx')' + pG(x(g)) = f\) in an interval \(I = [t_0, \infty)\), where \(f,p,r \in C (I, \mathbb{R})\), \(g \in C (I, \mathbb{R}^+) \), \(G \in C (\mathbb{R}, \mathbb{R})\), \(f \geq 0\), \(p \geq 0\), \(r > 0\) \(g(t) < t\), \(g(t) \to \infty\) as \(t\to\infty\), \(xG (x) > 0\) for \(x \neq 0\), and \(G\) is nondecreasing. Sufficient conditions (in integral form) on \(f,g,p,r,G\) are given for every solution \(x(t)\) of (1) to either be oscillatory at \(\infty\) or decay to zero at \(\infty\). For some theorems, \(G\) has a superlinear or sublinear structure. Earlier results of similar type are described in the book by \textit{G. S. Ladde}, \textit{V. Lakshmikantham} and \textit{B. G. Zhang} [Oscillation theory of differential equations with deviating arguments, Dekker, New York/Basel (1987; Zbl 0622.34071)].
