An almost Hermitian manifold \(M(J,g)\) is said to be almost Kähler if its fundamental form \(\Omega\), defined by \(\Omega(X,Y):=g(X,JY)\), is a symplectic form on \(M\). An almost Kähler manifold is Kähler if it is additionally Hermitian. The reviewer [\textit{Z. Olszak}, Bull. Acad. Pol. Sci., Ser. Sci. Math. Astron. Phys. 26, 139-141 (1978; Zbl 0379.53034)] has proved that an almost Kähler manifold of constant curvature is necessarily a flat Kähler manifold in dimensions \(2n\geq 8\). \textit{T. Oguro} and \textit{K. Sekigawa} [Math. Ann. 300, 317-329 (1994; Zbl 0815.53054)] have proved that a complete almost Kähler manifold of constant curvature is a flat Kähler manifold in any dimension \(2n\geq 4\). In their proof, the completeness of the manifold plays an essential role. In the paper under review, the same conclusion is obtained without requiring the completeness assumption.
