The author studies continuous solutions of systems of functional difference equations and systems of \(q\)-difference equations with polynomial coefficients. For the first system he finds that the continuous solutions on \(\mathbb{R}\) are exponential polynomials, divided by a polynomial. For the second system he finds that the continuous solutions on \(]0, +\infty[ \) are linear combinations of functions of the form \((\log x)^kx^\beta\), divided by a polynomial.
