The Pell-Padovan numbers are defined recursively by \[ p_n=2p_{n-2}+p_{n-3}\,(n\geq 3),\,p_{-n}=-2p_{-(n-1)}+p_{-(n-3)}\,(n\geq 1),\, p_0=p_1=p_2=1. \] The authors give (quite complicated) formulas for the determinant and the inverse of the Toeplitz matrix with first row \((p_1,\dots,p_n)\) and first column \((p_1,p_{-2},\dots,p_{-n})\) (Ppoeplitz matrix), and those for the Hankel matrix with first row \((p_n,\dots,p_1)\) (Ppankel matrix).
