The authors extend the area estimate and rigidity results to capillary surfaces of constant mean curvature immersed in a Riemannian manifold with umbilic boundary and controlled sectional curvatures. They analyze the case of manifolds with umbilic boundary and \(K_{\mathrm{sect}}\in [0,1]\). Theorem: Let \(({\mathcal M},\partial{\mathcal M})\) be a complete orientable and totally geodesic. If there exists a compact embedded \(H\)-disk \(\Sigma\subset{\mathcal M}\) orthogonal to \(\partial{\mathcal M}\) such that \(|\Sigma|=2\pi/(1+H^2)\), then: {\begin{itemize}\item[1)] If \(H>0\), the mean convex side of \(\mathcal{M}\setminus\Sigma\), is isometric to \(B_x(R_H)\cap S^3_+\subset S^3\) with the standard metric \(R_H=\frac{\pi}{2}-\operatorname{arctg}H\) and \(x\in\partial S^3_+\). Moreover, \(\Sigma\) is a disk \(D_H\) described in the model 1. \item[2)] If \(H=0\), \({\mathcal M}\) is isometric either to \(S^3_+\) with its standard metric of constant sectional curvature one, or to a quotient of \(\mathbb{R}\times S^2_+\) with the standard product metric. Moreover, \(\Sigma\) is a disk \(D_H\) or \(D_t\) as described in the models 1 and 2.\end{itemize}} In this paper five models are discussed in more detail using the unit spheres \(S^2\), \(S^3\) and the space \(\mathbb{H}^3\). Finally, the authors study compact capillary \(H\)-surfaces of nonpositive Euler characteristic immersed in a three-manifold with umbilic boundary and sectional curvatures less than or equal to \(-1\). The exposition of this paper is delicate.
