P-adic Nevanlinna theory outside of a hole (Q1680587): Difference between revisions

Let \(K\) be a complete ultrametric algebraically closed field of characteristic zero. In a number of papers, a Nevanlinna theory for meromorphic functions over \(K\) or a disk of \(K\) was developed. See, for example, [\textit{H. H. Khoai}, Duke Math. J. 50, 695--711 (1983; Zbl 0544.30039); \textit{A. Boutabaa}, Manuscr. Math. 67, No.3, 251--269 (1990; Zbl 0697.30047); \textit{A. Boutabaa} and \textit{A. Escassut}, Proc. Edinb. Math. Soc., II. Ser. 44, No. 3, 485--504 (2001; Zbl 1002.12008)]. In the paper under review, the authors establish a Nevanlinna theory for meromorphic functions outside a hole in \(K\). As applications, results on branched values are obtained.
