Let \(\Lambda\) be a finite dimensional algebra over a field \(k\) and \(G\) be a finite group acting on \(\Lambda\) by automorphisms. When \(\Lambda\) is a quotient of a path algebra by an admissible ideal, \textit{I. Reiten} and \textit{C. Riedtmann} [J. Algebra 92, 224--282 (1985; Zbl 0549.16017)] described the quiver \(Q_G\) of the skew group algebra \(\Lambda G\). In the paper under review, the authors study the skew group algebra \(\Lambda G\), where \(\Lambda=\mathcal{P}(Q, W)\) is the Jacobian algebra and \(G\) is a finite cyclic group. Under seven technical assumptions, the authors define an idempotent \(\eta\in \Lambda G\) such that \(\eta(\Lambda G)\eta\) is Morita equivalent to \(\Lambda G\). They also construct a quiver \(Q_G\) and a potential \(W_G\) on \(Q_G\) and in their main result prove that \(\mathcal{P}(Q_G, W_G)\cong \eta(\Lambda G)\eta\). The authors show that the dual group \(\hat{G}\) acts on \(\mathcal{P}(Q_G, W_G)\) and this action satisfies all seven technical assumptions mentioned in the main result. Also they prove that \(\mathcal{P}(Q_G, W_G)\hat{G}\) is Morita equivalent to \(\Lambda\) and there is an isomorphism of quivers \(\Phi:(Q_G)_{\hat{G}}\rightarrow Q\) which implies that \(\Phi((W_G)_{\hat{G}})=W\). They show that planer quivers with potential [\textit{M. Herschend} and \textit{O. Iyama}, Compos. Math. 147, No. 6, 1885--1920 (2011; Zbl 1260.16016)], with some spacial actions satisfy the seven conditions mentioned in the main result, and by using Postnikov's diagrams [\textit{A. Postnikov}, ``Total positivity, Grassmannians, and networks'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:math/0609764v1}] they give many examples. As a consequence they show that under some assumptions, \(2\)-representation finiteness is preserved under taking skew group algebras and give some sufficient conditions on a quiver with potential \((Q, W)\) which imply that all the truncated Jacobian algebras of \((Q_G, W_G)\) are derived equivalent. In the last section of the paper they provide many examples.
