The author considers the discrete system \(x_{n+1}=f_n(x_n)\) with \(f_n(x)\) being locally uniformly (with respect to \(n\)) Lipschitz and the sequence \(\{f_n(x)\}_n\) being almost periodic for each \(x\) in the definition domain of \(f_n\). Using almost periodicity and existence of almost periodic sequences of Lyapunov functions, a Barbašin-Krasovskii-La Salle type result is established for asymptotic stability and the standard assumptions in the problem of the instability are relaxed.
