This paper contributes to the combinatorial study of links in 3-dimensional lens spaces. It gives a set of 3 new moves which, when combined with the known Reidemeister-like moves connecting isotopically equivalent links, connect links which are equivalent up to diffeomorphism. The new moves correspond to certain involutions of the ambient lens space. The authors find that there are at most 4 isotopy equivalence classes of links in each diffeomorphism equivalence class. In addition they investigate the effect that these moves have on the lift of the link to the 3-sphere.
