The flow between a shallow rotating cone and a stationary plate is investigated, using a Navier-Stokes model. There is no analytical solution for this problem, only an approximate one. Due to the specific boundary, the regularity of the solution is poor. The authors construct analytically a corrector which enables to remove the singular part. Then they prove the asymptotic stability of the corrected flow under a smallness assumption. In the last part they present a numerical simulation corroborating their theoretical investigation.
