The authors give the parameters of all evaluation codes on smooth quadric surfaces. For codes on hyperbolic quadrics the approach uses elementary results on product codes, proving that these codes are tensor products of two extended Reed-Solomon codes. The parameters of codes arising from elliptic quadrics are obtained showing that they are extensions of some BCH codes and then using the BCH bound.
