    The authors propose a multiscale finite element method to study the homogenization problem \[ - {\text{div}} (A_{\varepsilon} (x) \nabla u ) = f \quad \text{in } \Omega \, , \qquad u = 0 \quad \text{in } \partial \Omega \] and study the error estimates. At the end some numerical tests are presented.
