In this paper, a Lax pair is constructed for the classical van Diejen system with two independent coupling constants. The Ruijsenaars-Schneider-van Diejen systems are multi-parametric integrable deformations of the translational invariant Ruijsenaars-Schneider models. Their so-called non-relativistic limit yields the Calogero-Moser-Sutherland systems corresponding to the \(BC\)-type root systems. Moreover, it is shown that the dynamics can be solved by the projection method.
