We say that a group representation has the ESQ property if it is isomorphic to a quotient of its own exterior square. In this paper, the author studies the ESQ property for a particular family of irreducible representation of symmetric groups over the complex field. This family corresponds to the partitions with height two, width two, and a hook shape as Young tableaux. That is, the partitions are \((1)\), \((2)\), \((1,1)\) and \((2,1)\).
