The authors construct an infinite family of 2-discs embedded in the 4-ball with their knotted boundaries in the 3-sphere. They have the property that the complements of the discs are all diffeomorphic yet no two of the imbeddings are equivalent. They show the discs are ribbon discs. In an appendix, pictures are presented which are meant to clarify a symmetry referred to in [\textit{S. Akbulut}, Topology 30, No. 3, 513--515 (1991; Zbl 0729.57009)].
