Non-oscillation of modified Euler type linear and half-linear differential equations (Q2147400): Difference between revisions

The author uses a combination of the Riccati method with the generalized Prüfer angle to obtain a non-oscillation criterion for modified Euler type second order half-linear differential equations. The obtained criterion is the counterpart of an oscillatory criterion, obtained by the author earlier. Hence, the studied equation is conditionally oscillatory in the very general case. Several corollaries are formulated and the novelty of the obtained result is illustrated on an example.
