In this paper the author characterizes the de Branges-Rovnyak spaces with complete Nevanlinna-Pick property. Let \(\mathbb{T}\) be the unit circle in \(\mathbb{C}\) and let \(T_\varphi\) be the classical Toeplitz operator on the Hardy space \(H^2\) with symbol \(\varphi\in L^\infty(\mathbb{T})\). For \(b\) in the closed unit ball \(H^\infty_1\) of \(H^\infty\), the de Branges-Rovnyak space \(\mathcal{H}(b)\) is defined to be the range space \(\mathcal{H}(b)=(I-T_bT_{\overline{b}})^{1/2}H^2\). When \(b\) is an inner function, \(\mathcal{H}(b)\) is the model space \(H^2\ominus bH^2\). The main result of this paper states that if \(b\in H^\infty_1\) is a nonconstant function, then \(\mathcal{H}(b)\) has the complete Nevanlinna-Pick property if and only if there exists a holomorphic function \(h\) on \(\mathbb{D}\) such that: (1) \(h(b(z))=z\), for all \(z\) in the unit disc \(\mathbb{D}\subset \mathbb{C}\). (2) The function \(g(z)=(z-b(0))/h(z)\) extends to a holomorphic function on \(\mathbb{D}\) with \(|g(z)|\le|1-\overline{b(0)}\, z|\), for all \(z\in\mathbb{D}\).
