The paper proposes digital topological versions of the notions of smash product, suspension, and cone in the field of algebraic topology. Based on this approach, the paper further refers to some notions of Euler characteristics of a digital suface and a digital homotopy equivalence. For some earlier and initial notions of digital homotopy equivalence and Euler characteristics of a closed surface, see the references [\textit{S.-E. Han}, ``On the classification of the digital images up to a digital homotopy equivalence'', J. Comput. Commun. (2019; \url{doi:10.3390/math7121244})].
