The authors prove that for a finite quantum group \(\mathbb{G}=\left( \mathcal{A},\Delta\right) \), i.e., a finite-dimensional Hopf *-algebra over \(\mathbb{C}\) admitting a faithful positive linear functional, the quantum group of automorphisms of \(\mathbb{G}\) defined by \textit{J. Bhowmick} et al. [J. Algebra 423, 514--537 (2015; Zbl 1317.46054)] is the classical group of Hopf *-algebra automorphisms of \(\mathcal{A}\), and hence any compact quantum group acting faithfully on \(\mathbb{G}\) is a classical group.
