This paper presents the next step in the authors endeavor for the classification of double circulant (DC) self-dual codes that began in 1998. This new work extends the knowledge of such codes upwards to lengths 90 to 96. There are generally two families of DC codes: pure and bordered. The exhaustive computer search for codes in both families shows the following results for \([2k,k,d]\) DC self-dual codes: For \(k=45\), no codes exist with \(d=16,\) whereas there are 716 codes with \(d=14\). For \(k=46\), no codes exist with \(d=16\) from the pure DC family, and there are 158 codes from the bordered family. For \(k=47\), no DC code exists with \(d=16.\) For \(k=48\), no DC code exists with \(d=20\) or \(d=18.\) For this length and \(d=16\), there are 49, 4565, and 1532 inequivalent pure DC singly even codes, pure DC doubly-even codes, and bordered DC doubly-even codes, respectively. Using the newly generated \([90,45,14]\) codes, the authors' search for neighbours with \(d=16\) was unsuccessful. The same result was achieved for neighbors with \(d\in\{18,20\}\) of the constructed \([96, 48, 16]\) DC codes.
