The author proves that the Connes-Kasparov (CK) map as Dirac induction is an isomorphism. The CK map is defined as follows. Let \(G\) be a connected Lie group with a maximal compact subgroup \(K\). Let \(R(K)\) be the representation ring of equivalence classes of irreducible \(K\)-modules as representations of \(K\). The CK map is a morphism of abelian groups from \(R(K)\) to the $K$-theory groups of the reduced group \(C^*\)-algebra \(C^*_r(G)\) of \(G\) with degree as dimension of \(G/ K\) mod~\(2\). For this, it is proved that the Connes-Higson (CH) map at \(t=1\), defined by evaluation in the CH deformation as \(G_t\) with \(0 \leq t\leq 1\) as equal to \(G_0\), is an isomorphism. For this, any smooth function on \(G\) with compact support is used to obtain certain \(C^*\)-algebra isomorphisms in subquotients of \(C^*_r(G)\). Consequently, the Mackey-Higson map between the reduced duals of the Cartan motion group \(G_0\) and a linear connected reductive group \(G\) induces a homeomorphism of $K$-types.
