A function \(b\in L^{\infty}(\mathbb{R}^n)\) is para-accretive if \(b^{-1}\in L^{\infty}(\mathbb{R}^n)\) and there is a positive constant \(c_0\) such that, for all cubes \(Q\subset\mathbb{R}^n\), there exists a subcube \(R\subset Q\) satisfying \[ \frac{1}{|Q|}\left|\int_R b(x)\,dx\right|\geq c_0. \] Let \(b_0\), \(b_1\) and \(b_2\) be para-accretive functions. Assume further that \(T\) is a bilinear singular integral operator of Calderón-Zygmund type associated with \(b_0\), \(b_1\) and \(b_2\). In this article, the author established a bilinear \(Tb\) theorem for singular integral operators of Calderón-Zygmund type. That is, the operator \(T\) can be extended to a bounded operator from \(L^{p_1}(\mathbb{R}^n)\times L^{p_2}(\mathbb{R}^n)\) into \(L^p(\mathbb{R}^n)\) for all \(p_1,\,p_2\in(1,\infty)\) satisfying \(\frac{1}{p_1}+\frac{1}{p_2}=\frac{1}{p}\), if and only if \(M_{b_0}T(M_{b_1}\cdot,M_{b_2}\cdot)\) satisfies the weak boundedness property and \(M_{b_0}T(b_1,b_2)\), \(M_{b_1}T^{\ast1}(b_0,b_2)\), \(M_{b_2}T^{\ast2}(b_1,b_0)\in\mathrm{BMO}(\mathbb{R}^n)\). Furthermore, the author also proved some new accretive type Littlewood-Paley results and constructed a bilinear paraproduct for a para-accretive function setting. Moreover, as an application of this bilinear \(Tb\) theorem, the author further obtained product Lebesgue boundedness for bilinear Riesz transforms defined on Lipschitz curves.
