The author gives a formula for a continuous, even, concave and piecewise linear solution\break \(g: [-1,1]\to {\mathbb R}\) of the Feigenbaum iterative functional equation \[ g(x)=-{1\over\lambda}g(g(-\lambda x)), \] where \(\lambda\in (0,1)\) is a parameter.
