The author considers wavelet systems generated by the hyperbolic lattice \(\Gamma(a,b)=\{(a^mbk, a^m)\}_{k,m\in\mathbb Z}\) and functions \(\Phi_n^{\alpha}\) defined as \({\mathcal F}\Phi_n^{\alpha}=t^{1/2}l_n^{\alpha}(2t)\), where \(l_n^{\alpha}\) is a Laguerre function. The main result in Theorem 1.1 reads as follows. If \(W(\Phi_n^{\alpha}, \Gamma(a,b))\) is a wavelet frame in \(H^2(\mathbb{C}^+)\), then \(b\log a<4\pi \frac{n+1}{\alpha+1}\).
