The first conformal Dirac eigenvalue on 2-dimensional tori (Q2489566): Difference between revisions

On a compact manifold admitting a spin structure and a Riemannian metric, the authors consider the square of the smallest eigenvalue of the Dirac operator, and establish a relationship with the \(\tau\)-invariant. They show that a particular value of this invariant defines a spin-structure on ``the'' non-trivial spin-structure on the torus \(T^2\).
